This LDC had a very long gap from the last regular LDC due to the Runolympics being in-between. MP3 won her own LDC for the second time, and also soared again to being the one and only record winner with five titles, as well as getting her highest LDC score thus far (her previous one being the 17.38 for SMA in the 30th LDC). This jubilee LDC probably didn't have the desired amount of participants, yet the quality of the crowd was highly appreciated.
After the 29th LDC being the first with two collaborations, this is the first one with two collabs on the pedestal. Both Vesoralla, Supershroom and Jumbo101 also got personal best's. The participation field was mostly consisting of many new talents.
There were some significant movements as well in the Eternal Score Table - MP3 and MoD knocked off retired legend Volkove from 1st to 3rd.
Due to the theme Finale / The Ultimate Battle, there was again a quite large amount of miniseries, comparably as large as in the 16th LDC. Some of them consisted only of one level and one boss battle, others took plots from previous works, but none exploited the maximum amount of 4 levels.
The newly begun era of fulltables made for a revolution in the format of judging posts (FF's and Raiyuuni's), and Raiyuuni also created a banner for his judgings, which was meant to be a humorous reference to the large amount of bullet bills in all levels.
